Why free
Free isn't a trick. It's the whole point.
Every meeting tool you have tried charges per seat, per minute, or both — and then charges again for the AI on top. The price has very little to do with the value and everything to do with what the product costs to run.
Adnote is built so that those costs are not ours to pass on. The notes are free because keeping them is free, and the intelligence is free because it runs on the assistant you are already paying for every month.
That is not a launch promotion or a loss leader waiting to be switched off. It is the shape of the product.

Meeting notes shouldn't cost more than the meeting
Remembering what was said is table stakes, not a premium tier. It should be free, unlimited, and not metered by the minute — so that is exactly what it is.
You shouldn't pay twice for the same AI
You already pay for Claude or ChatGPT. Charging you a second subscription to use a worse version of it, inside our app, would be the easy business model and the wrong one.
Nothing happens behind your back
No summaries written on your behalf, no quiet analysis of what you said. Your meetings sit untouched until you ask for something.
Everyone in the room deserves to know
A visible indicator appears whenever notes are being taken, and it cannot be switched off. Being useful is never worth being sneaky.
Straight answers
What Adnote won't do.
- It won't sell or share your meetings. Not to advertisers, not to model trainers, not to anyone.
- It won't attend for you. Adnote works while you are in the meeting. If you skip the call, there is nothing to remember.
- It won't pretend to be perfect. Notes are a record of what was said, not a legal transcript, and your assistant is told to treat them that way.
- It won't hide from the room. Everyone sees that notes are being taken, every time.
