Adnote writes down every call for free. Turning those transcripts into summaries and action items takes a model, and there are two ways to get one — most people want the first.

Where a developer key comes from
A developer key is not a Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus subscription. It is a separate account billed for what you use — usually a few pence for a whole meeting. Adding credit is part of creating one.
Sign in, add some credit, then create a key. It begins with sk-ant-.
Sign in, add a payment method under Billing, then create a secret key. It begins with sk-.
Paste it into Settings. It is encrypted before it is stored, never shown back to you in full, and you can remove it whenever you like. Adnote only ever calls a model when you ask it to — nothing runs in the background on your key.
